| Mission 1 Rennes, 6 AUG 1944 Objective : 2BTN is to clear the railroad stations around Rennes and impede German trains to escape. Result : TF MIKE and CLIF managed to bottle up the trains, TF HOL came out a draw and TF ULE and PEEB came too late. Overall a draw. |
| Mission 2 Dinan, 12 AUG 1944 Objective : The battalion is to intercept fleeing Germans of 77th Division and 2nd Fallshirmjaeger Regiment. Result : TF HOL and CLIF managed to stop the Germans but cost was too high. Other TF came too late making this a loss. |
| Mission 3 Landerneau, 20 AUG 1944 Objective : 2BTN will have to get beyon the blocking force of 2nd Fallshirmjaeger Regiment Result : Most TF managed to evade the dispersed Germans who fell back to Brest. |
| Mission 4 Brest, 30 AUG 1944 Objective : We are to break the outer defences of Brest and clear the obstacles the defenders have thrown in front of our path Result : Heavy fighting in the rubble with considerable losses to the officers corps, notably Cpt Peebles was KIA. 2BTN managed to clear the way for the follow up forces. |
| Mission 5 Le Conquet, 8 SEP 1944 Objective : A bunker complex housing the old Graf Spee guns has to be taken out Result : Most TF never got close to the Graf Spee and regular Army units had to isolate and reduce the bunker complex. |
| Mission 6 Crozon, 17 SEP 1944 Objective : The battalion, under direct control of Brigade CO LTC Kruzshak, is to liberate prisoners on the Crozon peninsula. HOL TF is to liberate the camp and then bring the prisoners back to the lines while TF CHA and TF PEA are to set up roadblocks and hold of the Germans Result : TF HOL freed the prisoners and brought them back safe. The other TF held off the Germans long enough. |
