| Mission 1 : 6 JUN 44. Scaling for liberty |
| Objective : 2 BTN is to scale the cliffs of Pointe-du-Hoc, take out the Observation and Gun Bunkers and establish a perimeter on the coastline |

| Report : Two TF had to land at Omaha Beach due to the bad weather and so Major Hanks had to jump in with the remainder of TF MIEL and the HQ. All landed rather well although it took considerable time to get on the cliffs. Losses were acceptable and a foothold was established along the cliffs. |
| Mission 2 : 7 JUN 44. German infiltrations |
| Objective : The 3 TF on the cliffs have to hold against the German counterattack with possible infiltrations. |
| Report : Heavy fighting on all sectors, minor infiltrations at HQ, although Major Hanks got wounded. TF MIC got hit badly but in the end the perimeter was held by all TF's. 1BTN managed to contact 2BTN. TF NUG got assigned to 1BTN while TF CLIF joined 2BTN. |
| Mission 3 : 12 JUN 44. American infiltrations |
| Objective : 1 and 2BTN have to dislodge the German defenses at Isingy. After infiltration, Rangers have to capture documents, destroy installations, capture or destroy weapons and filter back to friendly lines. |
| Report : Most TF get through with heavy fighting, some helped by armor support. TF CLIF gets hit bad and loses several officers to snipers. |
| Mission 4 : 22 JUN 44. Prisoners snatch |
| Objective : After short respite 2BTN is to get out and bring back some Kraut prisoners. |
| Report : Two TF returned victorious with a large set of interesting prisoners although some casualties were taken. Two other TF are MIA. |
| Mission 5 : 1 JULY 44. Attack on Cherbourg |
| Objective : Both Battalions join to break the fortresses around Cherbourg. Fort Roed is to be encircled and reduced. 2BTN will advance in 4 columns to get the job done. |
| Report : Most TF reclined the support of the poor 8th Supply Company which was seen as a danger to the troops. TF CLIF used 2BTN Weasels to outflank the enemy along the coast. All TF managed to achieve their objectives. |
| Mission 6 : 1 JULY 44. Attack on Cherbourg continued |
| Objective : The Brigade continues to reduce the massive Fort Roed. Several actions are required to subdue the last German defenders. |
| Report : All TF had a hard time biting through the forts defences. In the end the Brigade had to pull back to its starting lines, leaving 163rd Infantry Regiment to mop up the defenders. |
| Mission 7 : 14 JULY 44. Diversion Landing |
| Objective : 2BTN is asked to conduct a diversion landing near Lessay to distract German forces from the main objective St-Lo. |
| Report : CLIF, ULE and TIL TF got ashore, rubbled several buildings, captured 5 vehicles and an anti-tank gun. TF BAX had to be withdrawn into reserves before the start. Overall a success for 2BTN. |
| Mission 8 : 31 JULY 44. Take the bridges |
| Objective : 2BTN is to take the bridges over the Sée and Selune rivers that make up the gateway to Brittany. TF Mike is to land on the other side of the river to impede German counterattacks |
| Report : TF Mike landed well and cleared its area but none of the other TF managed to take the bridges over the river. Some TF came too late other saw the bridges blown in front of their faces. |
| Mission 9 : 1 AUG 44. Clear the rivers |
| Objective : 2BTN has now to attack across the rivers and establish a bridgehead as to allow the Engineers to build new bridges. TF Mike is to fight its way back and regain contact with the rest of the battalion. |
